First, visit HQ, choose the 3rd-12th Clubs or College Loops option, then log in. Note, 3rd-12th Clubs accounts are distinct from all other account types on HQ, so sign up for an account if you do not already have one.
Click your program card. From the navigation menu, click Members. From there, click Add Members in the center of the page. If you already have some members, the Add More Members button will be at the end of the member list.
Before a Facilitator adds members to a Club, they will get a pop up to consent on behalf of the parent for every student under 13 years old that signs up to HQ. From there, a window will appear with options for adding new members.
Note: Your options will depend on your program history and settings.
1. Share Program Code: You can display the Club code in large font on your screen. Members should log in to HQ, click the Join New button on their My Programs page and enter the program code.
2. Send Email Invites: Here, you can enter member's email addresses. An invitation email with directions will be sent to the participant or to the parent/guardian from Girls Who Code HQ.
Note: Emails managed by an organization (such as student emails from a school district) may be blocked. You can choose another enrollment option or reach out to clubs@girlswhocode.com if your invites have not reached your students.
3. Add From Another Program: If you have members returning for a new session (i.e. a renewed program), you may enroll them from the previous session. Select the previous program from the menu and then select the returning members.
How do I accept an HQ invite as a member?
If you are invited to join a Girls Who Code Club or College Loop program, you can accept it by clicking the Enroll button on your emailed invitation.
You will automatically be directed to either the 3rd-12th Clubs or College Loops option based on the program invite type. Note that 3rd-12th Clubs accounts are distinct from all other accounts on HQ. Log in or sign up for an account if you do not already have one. Complete the enrollment form to join the program.
