The virtual Summer Immersion Program (SIP) Student Grant, formally known as the Stipend Award, offers financial support of $300 for qualified US-based students. We created this award to support students who might otherwise earn a summer income. All students interested in SIP are encouraged to apply for the Grant, regardless of immigration status.
You will need to complete our virtual Summer Immersion Program (SIP) Student Grant application via SurveyMonkey Apply. You will only be able to access this step after completing a Summer Programs Application, in which you’ve selected virtual Summer Immersion Program (SIP) as your program of choice, if you are eligible. We recommend asking your parent/legal guardian to fill it out with you. The application only takes about 10-15minutes to finish.
To apply and remain eligible for the SIP Student Grant, students must commit to the Attendance Policy for the virtual Summer Immersion Program duration. Please be advised that you must submit your SIP Student Grant Application by your application deadline. Applicants can view the 2023 virtual Summer Immersion Program (SIP) Student Grant application’s step-by-step walkthrough. There you will find important notices and tips for successfully submitting your application.
The virtual Summer Immersion Program (SIP) Student Grant application is due the same deadlines as the main 2023 Summer Programs application submission:
Early Acceptance Deadline: February 17, 2023.
General Acceptance Deadline: March 29, 2023.
Please note that students will still be able to submit grant applications after March 29th, but we cannot guarantee consideration for grant submissions post-deadline. However, we will continue to award grants on a rolling basis and encourage you to apply!
