Can I start a Club if I am not affiliated or employed with a host organization?

All of our Clubs need to be affiliated with a nonprofit host organization, such as a school, library, or community-based organization. Clubs cannot be hosted in personal residences or for-profit spaces. Applicants starting a new Club are required to identify a host organization. 

However, if you are not an employee of the host organization, you can submit an application to start a new Club and serve as its Facilitator. Still, you will need to find an employed representative of the host organization to sign the Girls Who Code Participation Agreement.
