Some club participants may not have an email address, preventing them from enrolling on HQ. Facilitators with a Gmail account are able to use the following trick to assist in enrolling club members.
This trick will require a Gmail account. A facilitator can use their email address, for example firstname.lastname@example.org, to begin the process. When enrolling a new participant, enter a “+” followed by text immediately between the original email text and the “@” symbol. The email email@example.com may become firstname.lastname@example.org. This will register as a unique email address to our HQ system.
All emails sent to that “new” address will go to the inbox of the original email address. For example, if a Club member needs to reset their password, the password reset email will be sent to the Facilitator’s Gmail inbox.
Note: HQ requires a unique email address for each account. This process will need to be repeated for each enrollee.
Example 1: email@example.com
Example 2: firstname.lastname@example.org
