I’m a new 3rd-5th Grade Club. Where do I start?

Girls Who Code recommends all 3rd-5th grade Clubs start with the curriculum that accompanies our nonfiction book, Learn to Code and Change the World, which you’ll find once you log into the 3rd-5th programs curriculum homepage. This curriculum features chapter guides, online coding challenges, and unplugged activities. All excerpts from the nonfiction book are available as PDF copies in the chapter guides on the homepage of the GWC learning platform, HQ, and no physical copies of the book are needed.

If you have finished the Learn to Code and Change the World curriculum, you can move on to the curriculum that accompanies the first book in the fiction series, The Friendship Code, which you will also find on the 3rd-5th programs curriculum homepage. For the best experience, it is recommended that all members read this book in its entirety. Copies of The Friendship Code can be acquired through local libraries or by purchasing them online.
