HQ is the Girls Who Code (GWC) learning platform where we provide all resources and free activities, so it is important to register when you join your Club. There are two steps to register with your Club:
Step 1: Create Your Account
To create an account, first, we ask everyone two questions to determine what type of sign up experience they should have based on digital age of consent in different countries.
Under 13
If you are a student under 13, you can create your account with your username but will need to provide a parent's email address to sign up.
*Note if you are under 13 years old in the United Kingdom, we ask that your parent register you.
13+
If you are over 13 years old, you will sign up for Girls Who Code HQ using your email address. If you do not have an email, you can create one when you are 13! You can either sign up using Google or manually enter your email and password.
*Note, if you are outside of the United States, we will also ask you to consent to receive emails.
Step 2: Join Your Program
After you create your account, you will be asked for your Club's unique Club Code. You will receive your Club Code from your Facilitator at the first Club meeting or your Facilitator may send you an invite to the Club via email. You will need to provide your Facilitator your email address.
After you enter your Club code, we ask you a few more questions to finish your enrollment.
If you are missing your Club Code, please talk to your Facilitator.
If you are not yet a member of Girls Who Code, you can either find a Club near you, or learn how to start your own!
If you are having issues with registering, please reach out to us at clubs@girlswhocode.com.
