Because our programs are hosted in real-world, professional settings, some locations require that students provide a headshot for the host site's security purposes.
If your program requires that students provide a headshot: Have someone take a picture of you from the shoulders up, against a plain white background (no dark walls, bricks, patterns or artwork).
This photo should be a clear, straightforward representation of what you look like on a day-to-day basis; no selfies, no angles, no filters. Think passport photo, but feel free to smile!
The photo should be saved as a jpeg or png (.jpeg, .jpg, or .png).
- Have someone else take the photo
- Stand against a plain, white background
- Look straight at the camera
Take a selfie
Make a funny face
Include other people in the picture
Wear anything that hides your face (sunglasses, hats, etc.)
Use any filters or stickers
