The Girls Who Code Project is what drives the Girls Who Code Club experience!
As a team, members will choose a real-world issue that is important to them. Then, over the course of the Club, participants will build their computer science skills while planning and creating a project that relates to that issue. The Club ends with a GWC Project Launch Party, where each team shows off what they have built, why it matters, and how they have grown.
Participants may pick any topic that matters to them personally, whether it is local, national, or international. As a team, they will design and build their project in whatever way makes the most sense for their topic. In the past, GWC Club members have built games, developed informational websites, and even created helpful apps aimed at fixing a real-world problem.
You can find examples of past GWC Projects in the Project Gallery.
