Girls Who Code provides opportunities to delete accounts for all user types within GWC Clubs HQ - you can learn more in this Deletion FAQ.
However, in addition to allowing account deletion, Girls Who Code also monitors frequency of log ins for accounts for the purpose of determining active versus inactive status. We do this so that we may align with COPPA and will automatically delete inactive accounts for children under the age of thirteen who are not part of a School Club. For Club Student Users under the age of thirteen, we will maintain Student Data of that Club Student Users until directed by that Club Student User’s school to delete that data. As a parent/guardian, you and your child may request that data be deleted from Girls Who Code by reaching out to your school, who will then give notice to Girls Who Code.
