What is the Summer Immersion Program Student Grant, and how can I apply?

The SIP Student Grant, formally known as the Stipend Award, offers financial support of $300 for qualified US-based students. We created this award to support students who might otherwise earn a summer income. All interested students are encouraged to apply for the grant, regardless of immigration status. 

You will complete the Summer Immersion Program Student Grant Application via SurveyMonkey Apply. To access the SIP Student Grant Application, you must complete the Summer Programs Application and select Summer Immersion Program as your program of choice, if you are eligible for SIP. We recommend asking your parent/legal guardian to fill it out with you. The application only takes about 10-15 minutes to finish. 

Students must adhere to the virtual Summer Immersion Program (SIP) Attendance Policy to apply and remain eligible for the SIP Student Grant.

The virtual Summer Immersion Program (SIP) Student Grant Application is due by the same deadlines as the main 2024 Summer Programs Application submission. Early Acceptance applications are due by mid-February. The General Application deadline is late March. 

Please note: Showing interest in the grant application does not mean you have applied for it. The Grant Application is a supplemental application in addition to your Summer Programs Application.
