The Summer Stipend offers financial support to cover transportation and/or living expenses for qualified Summer Immersion Program students. The Summer Stipend also supports students who might rely on a summer income.
The Summer Stipend is need-based, and the amount offered will vary from applicant to applicant. Qualified recipients will receive a sum between $250 and $1000.
All students are encouraged to apply for the Summer Stipend. The application must be submitted in the same round as the Summer Immersion Program application.
The Summer Stipend application should take 10–15 minutes to complete. It will require tax forms, such as 1040 and W9 forms (if applicable), so students should complete the form with a parent or guardian. The application is open to students regardless of immigration status.
