What is the SIP Stipend Award?
The SIP Stipend Award offers financial support of up to $300 for qualified students. The award is intended to support students who might otherwise earn a summer income. All interested students are encouraged to apply for the Summer Stipend, regardless of immigration status.
How can I apply?
If you would like to be considered for a Stipend, you will need to complete a short supplemental SIP Stipend application on the SurveyMonkey Apply site after you fully submit your SIP application.
Some financial and tax information (such as a 1040 or W9 if application) will be required to complete the SIP Stipend application, that’s why we recommend asking your parent/legal guardian to fill it out with you. The application only takes about 10 minutes to finish.
To apply and remain eligible for this SIP Stipend, students must commit to the Attendance Policy for the duration of the Virtual Summer Immersion Program. Please note that you must submit your SIP Stipend Application by your application deadline.
Applicants can view a step-by-step walkthrough of the 2021 application here. This includes important notices and tips around successfully submitting your application.
When is the Stipend Application due?
The SIP Stipend application is due by the same deadline as your main 2021 Virtual Summer Immersion Program application submission,
- Early Acceptance Deadline (extended): February 19, 2021
- General Acceptance Deadline (extended): March 26, 2021
Please note the 2021 Virtual SIP Domestic Application & SIP Stipend Award Application deadline for students based in the United States has now passed. HOWEVER, students can still complete our online application to be directly added to our Waitlist.
