Students interested in the Summer Stipend can apply for the award within the main Summer Immersion Program (SIP) application.
The SIP application consists of 7 mandatory sections or "tasks." On the last task, applicants are asked if they'd like to provide some additional information to apply for the Summer Stipend. If you choose to apply for the Stipend, you will then receive access to an 8th task, the Stipend application.
The Summer Stipend section of the application only takes 10–15 minutes to complete, but it will require some insight into your family's financial circumstances, so students are encouraged to complete the form with a parent or guardian. (If necessary, applicants can always exit the application and return when ready.)
Once you've completed the Stipend task (and uploaded additional forms if necessary), applicants will select "REVIEW & SUBMIT" and then "SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION." At that point, your entire application, including the Stipend application, will be submitted.
The Summer Stipend is open to all eligible students, regardless of immigration status. All interested students are encouraged to apply.
- Phase 1 (Early Acceptance) applications are due by February 15, 2019.
- Phase 2 (Regular Acceptance) applications are due by March 15, 2019.
